114th "Holistic Care for Traumatized Persons" Professional Training (1st Session)
The Ministry of the Interior is committed to caring for and attending to veterans and their families who have become physically or mentally disabled while serving in the military. Since May 2011, it has been promoting the "Alternative Service Life Assistance Program," selecting conscripts with expertise in medical care, social work, etc. to provide home medical rehabilitation, companionship care, and housework services. as of the end of March this year, a total of 1,492 conscripts have been involved in caring for 147 injured veterans (80,786 service times), improving their quality of life and giving their families a chance to breathe.
To enhance professional knowledge, the Ministry of the Interior will organize relevant professional training on Friday, April 18, 2025. Through case studies, understanding assistive devices for the physically and mentally disabled, simple limb rehabilitation, and communication skills courses, professional knowledge and care skills will be enhanced to improve the life care of injured personnel.
