To fulfill the adjustment of Defense and Military Service policy and to respond to governance focus, in 2022, Auxiliary Service Corps are divided into four categories –fire fighting services, social services, public administration Auxiliary Service Corps (consular, cultural, athletic Auxiliary Service Corps and draftees who have indigenous people status), and research and development Auxiliary Service Corps. Draftees are responsible for such duties as long-term care, disaster preventing and relief and technological research and development. Therefore, more diverse options are provided for draftees to be responsible for disaster preventing and relief in remote area.
